Keyboard Farm grew from a lifelong fascination with keyboard instruments — not simply as objects, but as witnesses to musical history and as instruments that deserve to be heard, understood and played.
For Bart Rodyns, that fascination has always gone hand in hand with performing. As a professional organist and harpsichordist, years of concert practice gradually developed into something more: searching for instruments, acquiring them, studying them, comparing them, restoring their stories and finding new destinations for them.
Over the years, dozens of historical keyboard instruments have passed through Bart’s hands, while a personal collection of exceptional and sometimes unusual instruments has continued to grow. Every discovery has brought new knowledge — about makers, construction, sound, provenance, restoration and the market surrounding these instruments.
Keyboard Farm brings that experience together in one place.
MORE THAN A COLLECTION
Keyboard Farm is not simply an instrument collection, nor is it a traditional piano dealership.
It is a place where musical practice, historical knowledge, collecting and the international instrument market meet.
We search for remarkable instruments, offer selected instruments for sale and hire, represent instruments on consignment and provide specialist advice to musicians, collectors, private owners and institutions.
The collection itself remains an important part of Keyboard Farm: a living working collection in which instruments can be studied, compared, played and understood.

Bart Rodyns is a Belgian organist, harpsichordist, artistic director and collector with extensive experience in historical keyboard instruments.
His professional life as a performer provides an important perspective: an instrument is never judged solely as a historical object. Touch, sound, character and musical purpose matter too.
Years of acquiring, researching and working with instruments have created an extensive network of musicians, collectors, restorers, builders, institutions and specialists throughout Europe.
That combination of musical experience, historical curiosity and practical market knowledge forms the foundation of Keyboard Farm.

Historical Keyboard Instruments Division of B-ART Productions.
B-ART Productions brings together Bart Rodyns’ professional artistic activities, projects and collaborations.
Keyboard Farm concentrates the specialist instrument activities within that wider organisation — from finding and acquiring instruments to expertise, collection management, consignment, restoration guidance, hire and sale.
This connection also means that the instruments remain close to the reason they were originally created: music.

Some remain permanently within the collection. Others eventually continue their journey with another musician, collector or institution.
